Dr. K. Vinodkumar, currently holding the office of Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Veterinary polyclinic, Kunnamkulam, Thrissur is a post-graduate in Veterinary Preventive Medicine and has 19 years of service in the Department of Animal Husbandry, to become a popular Veterinary Medical practitioner and Farm Consultant of our times. Seven years as officer in charge of government farms of goats, pigs and rabbits and offering consultancy services on animal health, management and breeding to numerous private farms, he is a familiar face in the training programmes on Animal husbandry entrepreneurship conducted by NGOs and Govt. bodies. He has seven scientific articles, 11 technical articles and numerous popular articles to his credit. He has been a great motivator for the farmers by handling a popular column in 'Karshaka shree' monthly on health and management of pet animals.
