Dr.
Arun Zachariah, a graduate of 1988 batch of Veterinary College,
Mannuthy is presently serving as Assistant Forest Veterinary Officer, (Wild Life Diseases Research Laboratory, Northern Circle), Kuppadi, Wayanad. He earned his
post graduation (MS) from the Zoological Society of London (UK) in the
year 2005. He has spearheaded the establishment of the first Wild Life
Research Laboratory in Kerala which is also the first of its kind in
the country, set up with the objective of studying the diseases of the
free ranging wild animals and its impact on the wild life popul
